GRADUATION CEREMONY – December 4, 2024

The graduation ceremony for Doctors of Medicine, University Masters and Bachelors of Environmental and Public Health, and University Bachelors of Medical Laboratory Diagnostics will take place at the Center Gervais  in Opatija on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, according to the following schedule:

  • 11:00 AM – Ceremony for University Masters and Bachelors of Environmental and Public Health, and University Bachelors of Medical Laboratory Diagnostics
  • 2:00 PM – Ceremony for Doctors of Medicine
Graduates participating in the ceremony at 11:00 AM should arrive at the Center Gervais in Opatija by 9:00 AM to collect their gowns, caps, and for the general rehearsal. Graduates participating in the ceremony at 2:00 PM should arrive by 12:00 PM.
Guests will be allowed entry to the Center Gervais  starting at 10:45 AM for the 11:00 AM ceremony and at 1:45 PM for the 2:00 PM ceremony.

Based on the bilateral agreement with the School of Medicine, Hyogo Medical University, Japan, on 1 October 2024, the Faculty of Medicine announces the Call for applications for the election of two three-year students and three fifth-year students of the University Integrated Undergraduate and Graduate Study of Medicine and/or University Integrated Undergraduate and Graduate Study of Medicine conducted in the English language, who will participate in the student exchange programme at the School of Medicine, Hyogo Medical University, Japan, in 2025.

Academic Calendar 2017-2018

Enrolment into 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th year and the beginning of the academic year 2024/2025

Dear students,

You are invited to enrol in the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th year of the University Integrated Undergraduate and Graduate study programme of Medicine in English language. The enrolment will be held online.

Once you enrol through Studomat and submit your enrolment documents and proofs of payment (proof of  payment for the tuition fee and proof of payment for the enrolment fee ) via the web application, you will be enrolled. Please submit your enrolment documents according to the schedule below. Once we receive your enrolment documents, it means that you are done with exams for the academic year 2023-

 

Enrolment schedule:

Students who obtained a total of 60 ECTS credits in the academic year 2023-2024, students who need to retake some of the courses but have passed all other exams :

  • Enrolment in the 2nd and 3rd year: Monday (September 9, 2024), 9:00 am to 1:00 pm
  • Enrolment in the 4th  and 5th year : Tuesday (September 10, 2024), 9:00 am to 1:00 pm
  • Enrolment in the 6th year : Wednesday (September 11, 2024), 9:00 am to 1:00 pm

 

Students who will attend the exams in the week from Monday, September 9, 2024, until Friday, September 13, 2024, attend the enrolment procedure according to the following schedule: 

  • Thursday (September 12, 2024) and Friday (September 13, 2024), 9:00 am to 1:00 pm

 

Only students of all years of study who will take final exams in September during week from September 16, 2024, attend the enrolment procedure according to the following schedule: 

  • Monday (September 23, 2024): 9:00 am to 1:00 pm
  • Tuesday (September 24, 2024): 9:00 am to 1:00 pm
  • Wednesday (September 25, 2024): 9:00 am to 1:00 pm

 

It is important that you enrol at the stated times. Your enrolment is only valid for one academic year at a time.

Failure to complete the enrolment will lead to your exclusion from classes and assessments.

 

Courses begin on Monday, 30 September 2024.
