EU Careers Student Ambassadors

We are looking for one person to promote career opportunities in EU institutions at the University of Rijekaduring the next academic year (2025/2026) as an ambassador for the European Personnel Selection Office (EPSO).
What is it about?
The European Personnel Selection Office (EPSO) is the key institution responsible for recruitment within the bodies of the European Union. Established in 2002, EPSO organizes selection procedures and competitions for employment in EU institutions, bodies, and agencies, including the European Parliament, the Council of the EU, the European Commission, and others.
EPSO also runs the EU Careers Student Ambassadors program, connecting the EU with universities across member states and spreading information about career opportunities within EU institutions. The EU Careers Student Ambassador Program is conducted in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Croatia. As an EU Careers Student Ambassador, you will have the opportunity to:

✅ Develop public speaking, marketing, and human resource management skills
✅ Meet high-ranking EU officials

Roles and Responsibilities of an EU Careers Ambassador
🔹 Promoting EU career opportunities among students
🔹 Organizing and participating in EU Careers events
🔹 Actively maintaining an online presence and communicating about EU Careers
🔹 Providing information about EU job opportunities to interested students
What is Expected from an Ambassador?
🕒 Dedicating at least two hours per week to ambassadorial duties
📢 Regularly reporting and participating in online training sessions
🎯 Strong communication and organizational skills
You have the flexibility to decide how much promotional work you can integrate with your academic commitments. We are looking for creative ambassadors who can come up with innovative ways to promote EU Careers!

Eligibility Criteria:
✅ You are a citizen of an EU member state
✅ You are fluent in Croatian and English
✅ You can participate in a two-day training in October 2025
✅ You have full-time student status at UNIRI from October 2025 to September 2026
