Applicants who are currently studying at another higher education institution within European Union, and who wish to continue their studies at the Faculty of Medicine Rijeka, University integrated undergraduate and graduate study programme of Medicine in English language, may submit an application for transfer. Transfer is not possible in the first and last year of study. Applicants with overall grade point average equal to or higher than 3.8 or higher and without repetitions of the study year and study breaks in their eduaction  may apply for transfer. Applicants interested in the transfers to the 4^th and 5^th study year must submit Croatian language proficiency certificate (B1 level).

For applying for the transfer from another higher education institution  the following is required:

• a certified transcript of passed exams with the corresponding ECTS credits and grades
• a certificate from the faculty from which they are transferring proving that the student fulfills the requirements for regular enrollment in the following year of study
• certified transcript of records
• a copy of a particular part of the study program certified at the current faculty
• a student transferring from a foreign faculty to the study of Medicine in English, along with the original documents, must submit a notarized translation of these documents into English, a notarized translation into English of the university’s curriculum and study program with learning outcomes based on which ECTS credits were achieved
• certificate of citizenship

Officially attested English translation of the documents is required  if these weren’t originally written in English language or Croatian language.

The request with attachments should be submitted from September 1 until September 15 in person at the Faculty Registry Office (Pisarnica), or sent by post to the following address:
