We are pleased to inform you that the University of Rijeka  has opened the call for applications for student Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programs – BIP for 2023/2025.

Applications are submitted electronically.

The mobility can be realized in the period from June 1, 2023, until July 31, 2025.

UNIVERSITY OF RIJEKA’S ERASMUS CALLS FOR APPLICATIONS 

Science Festival at the Faculty of Medicine in Rijeka

The Science Festival is an event that has been organised in Croatia since 2003 with an aim to bring science closer to the public, that is to inform the public about the activities and results in the field of science, improve the public perception of scientists and motivate young people to research and acquire new knowledge.

The Science Festival is organised by the universities from Split, Zagreb, Rijeka, Zadar and Osijek in cooperation with the Nikola Tesla Technical Museum and the British Council and is sponsored by the Ministry of Science and Education.

As part of the Science Festival, the Faculty of Medicine in Rijeka will organise the following activities and workshops this year:

”Dexter’s Laboratory” workshop held by the Department of Medical Chemistry, Biochemistry and Clinical Chemistry (held in Croatian language)

”Dose Makes the Poison: Poisonous and Medicinal Plants Around Us and Their Uses“ workshop held by the Department of Basic and Clinical Pharmacology and Toxicology (held in Croatian language)

“40 years of posters” exhibition  (held in Croatian language)

“Nobel Prize in Chemistry” workshop in English language held by the Department of Medical Chemistry, Biochemistry and Clinical Chemistry (held in English language)

Pipetting and microscopy workshops held by the Centre for Proteomics (held in Croatian language)

“Puzzles of Heredity” workshop held by the Centre for Genetic Education and CroMSIC – Croatian Medical Students’ International Committee (held in Croatian language)

“Life in a Drop of Water – the Importance of Preserving Karst Ponds” workshop held by the Department of Medical Biology and Genetics (held in Croatian language)

Erasmus mobility of invited staff from enterprises for teaching at the University of Rijeka

Invited incoming staff from enterprises may apply to the University of Rijeka for Erasmus+ grant for teaching mobility at the University of Rijeka.
Invited staff from enterprises invited to teach at UNIRI may be employed in any public or private organization (not awarded with an ECHE – Erasmus Charter for Higher Education).

Invited staff from enterprise will receive Erasmus+ grant (€ 112,00) as a contribution to their cost for travel and subsistence during the period abroad.

Minimum duration of invited incoming staff mobility is 1 day.
Maximum duration of invited incoming staff mobility is 10 days.

The mobility can be realized in the period from June 1, 2022, until July 31, 2024.

The candidate can apply for Erasmus+ grant to the UNIRI International Mobility Centre by submitting:
Application form (in English)
Invitation letter from the UNIRI member institute (faculty / academy / department)
Employment status certificate (candidate cannot be employed by a higher education institution)
Mobility agreement for teaching signed by all sides.
