The University of Rijeka announces the Call for applications for awarding student excellence scholarships in the academic year 2023/2024. Student excellence scholarships are intended for all students enrolled in the academic year 2023/2024 as full-time students of undergraduate, graduate and integrated studies of the University of Rijeka and its constituents. The monthly amount of the scholarship is EUR 130.00* (979.49 HRK) paid for a period of 10 months (from October 2023 to July 2024).

 

The application deadline is Monday, 20 November 2023, until 12:00 pm (noon).

The application is submitted only electronically by clicking on the APPLICATION link and filling out the online application via MS Forms. The online application can be accessed by entering your electronic identity in the AAI@EduHr system (e.g. peric.pero@student.uniri.hr). A list of all LDAP administrators authorized for issuance of AAI@EduHr electronic identity can be found at the following link.

CEEPUS call for applications – summer semester of the academic year 2023/2024

CEEPUS (Central European Exchange Programme for University Studies) is a regional mobility exchange programme in the field of higher education. The aim of CEEPUS is to improve cooperation in the field of higher education and related scientific activities, with an emphasis on inter-university cooperation and mobility. Croatia joined the CEEPUS agreement in 1995 and participates in the programme along with the following countries: Albania, Austria, Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Macedonia, Moldova, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia and Serbia.

The Faculty of Medicine in Rijeka is part of two networks:

  1. Training and Research in Environmental Chemistry and Toxicology
  2. Food Safety for Healthy Living

Call for applications for student mobility for traineeship in all third countries

On 22 September 2023, the University of Rijeka announced the Call for applications for student mobility for traineeship in 2023/2025 as part of the Erasmus programme in all the third countries not associated to the Programme (project 2023-1-HR01-KA131-HED-000113440, INTERNATIONAL OPENING).

Mobility can be achieved in any country non-associated to the Programme (regions 1 – 14) in the period from 10 October 2024 to 31 July 2025. The list of all the regions can be found in the Call for applications.

The physical student mobility period can last from 2 to 12 months.

In agreement with the host institution, undergraduate and graduate students can also attend blended mobility – short-term physical mobility lasting from 5 to 30 days, combined with a compulsory virtual component before, during and/or after the physical mobility period.

Students can attend the traineeship programme within one year of completing their studies (graduation). The traineeship must be completed within that year and no later than the date stipulated by the Call for applications.
Applicants must be students when they apply for the student mobility.

The Call for applications will be open until available funds are exhausted, and no later than 1 March 2025.

Matriculation week for first-year students of the Faculty of Medicine in Rijeka from 28 September to 6 October 2023

Matriculation lecture for first-year students will be held on Thursday, 28 September 2023 according to the following schedule:

  • Lecture room 2 – Study programme of Medicine – 9:00 am
  • Lecture room 1 – Study programmes of Pharmacy, Environmental and Public Health and Medical Laboratory Diagnostics – 10:00 am
  • Lecture hall – Study programme of Medicine in English – 11:00 am
