Faculty of Medicine as one of the components of the University of Rijeka recognized the importance of the internationalization of its constituents throughout education programs in English.

The Medical studies in English start next academic year (2017./2018.)

Public presentation of the study will be held at City Hall, Korzo 16, on Friday, 16 December 2016, beginning at 11 hours.

SUMMER ENTRANCE EXAM TERM  (JULY 3, 2026) ACADEMIC YEAR 2026/2027

 

The Faculty of Medicine Rijeka is announcing 2nd public call for admission to University Integrated Undergraduate and Graduate Study Programme of Medicine in English language in academic year 2026/2027.

The deadline for submission of the application is Monday, 29 June 2026. 

The application documentation is submitted exclusively in PDF form via a web application.

Once your application has been verified we kindly ask you to send the original documents by EXPPRESS post no later than July 1, 2026, as follows:

  • Please send the original documents (international student application form, CV, 4 photographs, proof of payment of the application fee (200,00 EUR), medical certificate not older than one month, birth certificate, certified copy of financial statment) to the following address: University of Rijeka, Faculty of Medicine, Medical Studies in English, Braće Branchetta 20, 51000 Rijeka, Croatia.
  • Please send certified copy of your ID card or Passport and certified translated copies of your high school diplomas to the following address: Agencija za znanost i visoko obrazovanje, Središnji prijavni ured, Ravnice 48, 10000 Zagreb, Croatia.

* final date for sending (not receiving) the documents to Central Registration Office for the applicants who finished their secondary education abroad before 31.12.2025. is May 22, 2026.

* *The entrance exam will be organized on-site in a hybrid mode (online) at the University of Rijeka, Faculty of Medicine premises, Braće Branchetta 20/I, 51000 Rijeka and simultaneously abroad.
